Women Adventure...The Pedal and Paddle
Back by Popular Demand - 4th year!

Saturday - Tuesday, June 1 - 4th 2013



Grab a girlfriend or two and join us for an outdoor weekend on the Iron Range.  Meet other adventure women while paddling your kayak through pristine rivers (test your skills on a Class II rapid) and pedaling through historic cities famous for their rich immigrant traditions.  All bicycles, kayaks, two scenic and remote campsites, camping gear, gear transfer, trail passes, visit from local historian, and van support included.  Food includes; gourmet breakfasts and dinners, with trailside lunches and happy hour on return to camp each day.  Kayak 11 miles on the Cloquet River and bike 25, 45 or 70 miles on the Mesabi Trail.  Imagine getting to camp to find everything set up for you!  Limited to 12 women.

NEW!  Pedal and Paddle in Western Wisconsin
Saturday, June 8 - Monday, June 10th, 2013

 
This is a shorter and closer to the Metro women's trip.  We spend 2 nights camping and 3 days playing!  Beginning at 10am on Saturday, we kick off our time together with lunch and then a challenging afternoon on the Kinnikinnick River.  That evening we enjoy our first happy hour together to share our day on the river and rest for our rolling hills bike ride on Sunday.  Along with the countryside views, we will stop at the Bass Lake Cheese factory for ice cream and/or cheese samples.  Monday enjoy more pampering with a leisurely breakfast and lunch as you enjoy the hiking trails, beach, and waterfalls in the park.

Women's Rivertown Trek

A wilderness trip close to the Twin Cities!  Spend one day hiking and one day kayaking along the scenic cliffs on the St. Croix River.  Meet other women looking for adventure, yet a little pampering too.  Your trip starts with a hike along spectacular cliffs formed by glaciers long ago with a scenic downstream paddle by kayak with an island picnic lunch on your second day.  Finish your trip pampered at the William Sauntry Mansion within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Stillwater.  All equipment, food (except dinner in Stillwater), happy hours, shuttles, transportation, pampering and support included.

St. Croix River Paddle and Picnic


Treat Dad to a family outdoor adventure!  Experience nature by paddling an old logging river and viewing eagles and towering bluffs.  We will kayak the St. Croix River together and enjoy a day with Dad.   We start the day with breakfast at the Osceola Landing and try some geocaching.   We will transport you to our starting point to begin our time on the river.  An outdoor lunch BBQ (fit for Dad) will be served when we return back to the park.  Includes; kayaks, paddles, lifevests, guides, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages, plus shuttles and support.   
  ** Kids ages 6 and older please. ** All fitness levels welcome.

Fall Colors Paddle-n-Picnic

Grab a friend, sister, grandchild, or spouse and join us for a leisurely, downstream 4 hour paddle on the St. Croix River enjoying the eagles, hawks, and vultures playing along the limestone bluffs.  We meet at William O'Brien for a light breakfast, then a short drive as we start our journey
.  Reminisce about our day on the river with a BBQ lunch and Happy Hour afterward.
